Supportive and friendly, well-established independent accountancy firm in the heart of the Black Country seeking to recruit people into an accounts-focused role within the team at Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant level.
Your new role
This is an all-round, client-facing practice role which will enable you to undertake accounts and tax planning work alongside involvement in the development of more junior staff. You will play a crucial role in the future development of the firm and will have clear scope to develop your skills and experience and progress your career in the long term. Within this position, you will work with a varied portfolio preparing statutory and management accounts, liaising regularly with your clients both in person and over the phone. You will work with sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies building and maintaining excellent relationships.
What you’ll need to succeed
The right candidate for this position will be confidently able to prepare accounts from start to finish and will have gained a good grounding within an accountancy practice environment over the past few years. Individuals with professional accountancy qualifications (ACA/ACCA/AAT) alongside those who are QBE or currently studying will also be considered.
Great systems skills and the ability to communicate effectively and build excellent client relationships will also be key.
