Electrical Manager – Energy from Waste

Astute’s Power team is partnering with a large-scale European Engineering and Construction company to recruit an Electrical Manager on 12 months for its Scotland site.

The Electrical Manager role comes with a rate of £450-£550 per day.

Key skills:

1. Lead and coordinate electrical installation activities across the EfW construction site.
2. Ensure electrical systems are designed, installed, and commissioned in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
3. Manage electrical subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring performance aligns with project requirements and schedules.
4. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and timeline objectives.
5. Conduct site inspections, audits, and testing to ensure electrical work meets specifications.
6. Liaise with other engineering disciplines, construction teams, and client representatives to ensure seamless project execution.
7. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and progress updates for stakeholders.
8. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including hazardous energy control procedures.
9. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues during the construction and commissioning phases.

Location, remuneration and timeframe of the Electrical Manager role:

• Location: Scotland
• Outside IR35
• Rate: £450-£550 per day
