Senior RF Engineer

Location: Cambridge (CB25)Duration: PermanentHours: 9am until 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)Salary: Up to £85,000 per annumJob Reference:

Polytec are looking for a Team Leader for our client based just north of Cambridge. This role involves some travelling therefore you will need to have a full, clean driving licence and own transport.

Responsibilities:

1. Managing a team of RF design engineers
2. Technical design and specification of RF circuitry
3. Technical requirements analysis
4. Resolution of design and integration issues
5. Type approval support
6. Technical support to end customers
7. Regular reporting to senior stakeholders

Requirements:

1. Degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications or similar
2. Extensive experience in RF design and development
3. In-depth knowledge of RF systems and technologies
4. Proven leadership experience, managing and mentoring engineering teams
5. Excellent project management skills
6. Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
8. Proficiency in RF design tools and software
