Senior Security Operations Manager – London

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + bonus, extensive benefits package

Location: London

Hours: Monday to Friday

This is a tremendous opportunity to lead the delivery of operational security at a high-profile location in London. You should be a talented people manager with experience leading large teams in dynamic environments.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

1. Experience managing the delivery of operational security at a high-profile location or events
2. Experience leading large security teams (40+)
3. An experienced and passionate people manager with a track record of leading and developing inclusive security teams
4. Ideally you will have experience managing the delivery of security operations at events
5. Experience implementing security strategy: crisis management, emergency planning, incident management plans etc.
6. A passion for service excellence
7. Experience of positively influencing and engaging senior stakeholders and partners
8. We would welcome applications from candidates who have undertaken further industry learning/qualifications such as a Degree in Security & Risk Management or similar

Responsibilities will include:

1. Managing the operational delivery of security
2. Leading a large team of security professionals including Security Supervisors, Shift Managers, Security Control Room Operators
3. Assist with the strategic planning of the security function
4. Oversee the creation and implementation of SOPs and assignment instructions
5. Conduct and monitor staff appraisals and encourage further development
6. Management of the security service providers
7. Staff training and development including regular emergency preparedness training
8. Liaison with Police and emergency services
9. Incident management and response
10. Oversee the delivery of control room services
11. Cross functional working with the Property and Facilities teams
12. Budget management
