About the Role:
As a Process Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the reliable, compliant, and efficient operation of manufacturing and packaging equipment within a state-of-the-art facility. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your engineering skills in a regulated GMP environment while driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical support for manufacturing and packaging processes.
- Optimise plant equipment for reliability, cost-effectiveness, and availability.
- Lead investigations, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement projects.
- Develop and implement maintenance regimes and manage external contractors.
- Support commissioning, qualification, and validation of new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GEP, and internal quality systems.
Requirements/ experience needed:
- HNC/HND or Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or a related Engineering discipline.
- Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing (MHRA/FDA).
- Strong understanding of commissioning, qualification, and validation.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
