We are now seeking an experienced Dental Practice Manager to join our leadership team and help take the practice to the next level.

Position Overview:

As the Dental Practice Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring high standards of patient care, staff coordination, and operational efficiency. This is a pivotal role that requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of dental practice workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all administrative and operational aspects of the dental practice
  • Lead, support, and develop the front desk and clinical team to maintain a positive, high-performance culture
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including CQC standards and GDPR
  • Manage patient scheduling, billing, and customer service processes
  • Monitor and optimize financial performance, including budgeting and cost control
  • Liaise with suppliers, labs, and external partners to maintain smooth operations
  • Implement and maintain practice policies and procedures
  • Support marketing efforts and patient engagement strategies
  • Drive continuous improvement across all areas of the practice

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in dental or healthcare practice management
  • Previous experience working in an NHS dental practice is essential
  • Strong knowledge and practical understanding of NHS contract management, UDAs, and patient pathways
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC compliance and NHS regulatory frameworks
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with dental software systems (S.F.D.)
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, performance metrics, and KPIs
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
