My client is a private equity backed life insurance consolidator, with a portfolio of c. €9bn invested predominantly in fixed income assets.
Role is based in London, hybrid working arrangement.
Job Description
The Quant Analyst
Help produce periodic reports to monitor investment portfolios and inform investment decisions.
Write code to automate and enhance the analytical capability.
Run ad-hoc analyses on the portfolios as and when required.
Develop and implement complex quantitative models.
Analyse financial data and statistics.
Collaborate with team members to drive strategic decisions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Continuously monitor and validate model performance.
Keen interest in Financial Markets trends and developments.
Contribute to the overall success of the department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Quant Analyst should have:
ü A degree in a quantitative field, Actuarial Science or Finance.
ü Strong interest in Finance and capital markets.
ü Some experience with fixed income, insurance and or ALM is a plus.
ü Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and attention to detail.
ü Good written and oral communication skills.
ü Self-starter and ability to work autonomously.
ü Solid foundations and coding experience in Python is a must.
Some coding experience in VBA would be desirable but isn’t essential for the role.
