About the job:

We’re looking for an experienced Contract Manager to foster profitability and sustainable growth in our Small Waters area! You will achieve strategic objectives – such as growth, innovation, efficiency, and excellence through an alignment with Citycare Water’s Values, by ensuring projects are executed efficiently.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Small water and wastewater treatment plants operations and maintenance.
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Project engineering schedules and forecasts.
  • Planning and scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and managerial aspects of projects.
  • Implementing continuous improvements in service, productivity, and efficiency while implementing new technologies to provide improvement in operational efficiency.
  • Day-to-day management of staff associated with the Small Waters contract.

What you’ll need:

  • An NZCE/BE qualification and appropriate technical qualifications in Civil Engineering.
  • Over 3 years experience in operational management.
  • Proven ability to drive and maintain operational improvement and efficiencies.
  • Technical and practical experience in Water or Wastewater treatment.
  • A high commitment to quality assurance and HSE.

All preferred candidates will be required to complete pre-employment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
