Proposals Lead Engineer – Water Sector

Kent (Hybrid Working) | Permanent | £55,000 – £70,000

Are you a strategic thinker with a background in engineering and a passion for infrastructure? Our client is looking for a Proposals Lead Engineer to join their expert team in the water industry.

This is a great opportunity for someone experienced in multidisciplinary design and build (D&B) projects to take a lead role on high-profile work. You'll work closely with construction and design teams, shaping proposals that have a real impact.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate constructability input with delivery partners
• Plan and allocate resources with regional construction leads
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality metrics
• Uphold best-in-class Health & Safety practices
• Engage with stakeholders around design, permits, and planning

What You’ll Need

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (plus vocational training)
• Experience as a Project Manager or Senior Agent
• Knowledge of civils and MEICA within D&B projects
• Contract law knowledge and construction expertise
• Strong leadership and stakeholder skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera, and document systems
• Valid CSCS card + H&S/Environmental training
