Senior Director – Head of Platform Engineering, Infrastructure & Security

A leading entertainment company is searching for a Head of IT to develop the company’s IT strategy and build an IT team from scratch to support global expansion.

The Head of IT’s responsibilities will be:

• Develop and execute the IT strategy.
• Design systems to support game play covering cloud and on-prem servers, networking, VPNs and security services.
• Build, lead and manage the IT department, including hiring, training and mentoring.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of the IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security and scalability.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures.
• Administer and support Office 365 applications.
• Provide expert guidance on network architecture, design and implementation.

The Head of IT will be expected to have experience with:

• Proven experience in IT leadership.
• Strong technical proficiency in Office 365.
• Expertise in networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs and routing/switching.
• Experience with firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, WatchGuard.
• Experience working with MSPs.
