I am working alongside a regional civil engineering contractor. They are looking to onboard a reinstatement manager to help deliver ongoing frameworks across Derbyshire and surrounding counties.
Reinstatement manager responsibilities:• Plan and schedule reinstatement works, ensuring alignment with project timelines and client requirements.• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to coordinate activities and resolve issues.• Manage resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to ensure project efficiency.• Oversee day-to-day reinstatement operations, including road surfaces, pavements, and landscaping works.• Ensure reinstatement works meet required specifications, including National Joint Utilities Group (NJUG) and Highways standards.• Monitor and manage the performance of teams, ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget.• Promote a strong health and safety culture across all project activities.• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, including NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act) and HSE standards.• Conduct site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks.• Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of workmanship.• Conduct site inspections and address any defects or non-conformance issues promptly.• Ensure proper documentation and certification of completed works.• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.• Provide regular updates and reports to clients and senior management.• Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.• Monitor project budgets and ensure financial targets are met.• Identify and manage variations, ensuring accurate cost control and reporting.• Assist in preparing valuations and final accounts.
Reinstatement manager requirements:
Right to work in the UK.
CSCS card.
SMSTS.
NRSWA.
Previous experience and knowledge of NRSWA.
IT literate.
Full UK driving licence.
