SEND Teaching Assistant – Long-Term Role

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with supporting pupils with SEND? Do you hold a Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification? If so, we need you!

Textbook Teachers are recruiting for a long-term SEND Teaching Assistant placement. This placement is located in Newark and is to last until July 2025, with possibility of extension depending on success in the role.

We are an education agency that work across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire. We work in collaboration with Primary, Secondary, and SEND schools, aiding them in their recruitment for part-time and full-time educators.

Requirements for the role:

• Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification
• 18+ months experience within education, minimum role as a Teaching Assistant
• Knowledge of various SEND and relevant support strategies
• Knowledge of the UK Primary and/or Secondary curriculum
