ACCOUNT DIRECTOR / SENIOR AD – CONSUMER

Leading PR agency based in central Manchester is looking for a Consumer Account Director to join their award-winning team! (Hybrid working). This role is also open to Senior Account Director level applicants.
The ideal candidate will have a strong earned media background, have an agency background and experience working in a busy Press Office or on Press Office accounts. It would also be advantageous if you had FMCG experience.
Working closely with the account team, your role will be to advise and steer market-leading brands, specifically their key social account. You will be building strong client relationships, working with the wider team to craft & deliver communication strategies, managing a comm’s team and acting as a mentor to juniors.
Ideally, you will have a strong PR agency background, leading a variety of accounts across multiple sectors, including FMCG. You will also need experience in running campaigns that span earned, shared, and owned media, with an in-depth knowledge of traditional and social media landscapes.
Other areas of experience should include working in and overseeing Press Office / PR Accounts, influencer engagement, stakeholder management (internal & external), team management, and crafting organic & new business proposals.
