Employee Relations Manager, EUROPELondon-Based (Hybrid)

About the RoleThe Employee Relations Manager will provide expertise and guidance to business leaders and HR team, ensuring best practices in employee relations and compliance across multiple countries in Europe. The role is part of the HR team and reports to the Head of HR.

Key Responsibilities• Provide expert guidance on all Employee Relations (ER) matters.• Manage ER casework, including disciplinary actions, grievances, dismissals, and appeals.• Support organizational change projects such as M&A, role transitions, redundancies, and legal entity changes.• Coach and train managers on HR best practices.• Collaborate with HR, legal, and compliance teams to align business decisions with policies and regulations.• Maintain relationships with external legal counsels and relevant ER service providers.• Monitor ER trends, identify areas for improvement, and drive solutions.• Stay updated on employment law developments and provide training as needed.• Mentor and support HR team members in handling ER cases.

Requirements• Extensive ER experience in a multinational, fast-paced environment.• Strong knowledge of employment law, particularly in the UK (additional European experience is an advantage).• Commercially focused and pragmatic approach to resolving ER and business issues.• Strong coaching and advisory skills for guiding business leaders.• Ability to manage disputes while supporting business priorities.• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and efficiency.• Strong communication and presentation skills across all managerial levels.• A collaborative approach with a focus on building trusted partnerships.• Degree in HR (CIPD Level 5 or 7) or Law.
