Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Manager – Permanent position – Basingstoke – £33,945 – £37,336
Academics have an exciting opportunity for you to join an amazing secondary school in Basingstoke which caters for students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and autistic spectrum condition (ASC).
The school is looking to appoint a Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Manager (SWAM) to become part of their growing team. This is a permanent position starting ASAP, working 42.5 hours per week, with a salary between £33,945 – £37,336.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain safeguarding and welfare protocols within the school.
- Ensure attendance policies are adhered to and monitor student attendance.
- Build strong relationships with students to support their needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous training/experience within a safeguarding/attendance role, Social Services, or Police.
- GCSE Maths and English grades between A-C.
- Good understanding of attendance protocols.
