Lead Engineer

Zest are recruiting a lead engineer to join a market-leading food business in Leicestershire.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee a small team of shift engineers.
2. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
3. Delegate maintenance schedules and plans.
4. Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
5. Lead equipment installation and upgrades.
6. Implement improvements.
7. Manage spare parts.
8. Provide technical support and training to staff.

Requirements:

1. A recognised apprenticeship or vocational qualifications in engineering to level 3 standard (electrical preferred).
2. Some supervisory experience.
3. FMCG background. Food/packaging favourable.
4. Right to work in UK.
