As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the Company’s month-end process, including all aspects of general ledger accounting and reporting.

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Lead SSL’s month-end process, including creating the monthly balance sheet pack, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, and monitoring the progress of associated actions.
- Liaising with company auditors to facilitate and monitor responses to the SSL audit plan.
- Managing and coaching a team of 6 and supporting their development.
- Support the implementation of a new general ledger system to deliver process improvement and enhanced management reporting.
- You will be an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA-qualified accountant.
- Demonstrable experience financial report in the Insurance industry, preferable within an insurance broker or MGA.
- Experience and competence in external financial reporting.
- Line management experience and coaching and mentoring skills.
- Experience in General Ledger / Finance system implementation, preferable.
