Our Enterprise-tier digital subscription business is key to growth, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Propositions Manager to expand this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Insights:Conduct research to understand client needs, market trends, and audience segmentsAnalyze competitors and identify opportunities for growth and differentiationAssess market gaps and emerging needs to propose new offerings
  2. Proposition Development:Design and refine subscription propositions for key sectors like government, corporate, and education including clear and differentiated value propositionsIdentify and develop potential product and feature enhancements and growth opportunitiesWork closely with colleagues in finance and the business to create business cases for new propositions and prioritise deliverySupport the development of complementary strategies for content Syndication and Licensing partnerships
  3. Pricing Strategy:Develop package pricing and models to support sales and ensure competitive positioningCoordinate internal teams to launch new packages or featuresDevelop and execute detailed go-to-market plans with timelines and key milestonesCollaborate with sales and marketing to ensure effective launches and gather feedback for improvements
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration:Align with internal teams (e.g., sales, editorial, product, data) on client requirements and featuresWork with marketing to create campaigns driving awareness and demand
  5. Performance Tracking:Define key success metrics and monitor proposition performance, using data to drive improvementsReport on metrics, including revenue growth and customer acquisition

Desired Skills & Attributes

  1. Experience:Proven success in senior B2B propositions, product marketing, or subscription management rolesBackground in media, technology, or SaaS with subscription-based model experienceExperience in a strategy role is advantageous for market and opportunity analysis
  2. Skills:Effective in matrix organizations, relationship-building, virtual team leadership, and influencingHighly effective at quantitative and qualitative market intelligence gatheringStrong communication and presentation skillsAnalytical mindset to translate data into actionable strategies
