Job Description:

Design Vision

– A visionary, responsible for TRIP’s brand identity, who can oversee the creative direction of the brand across all formats – packaging, advertising, websites, social, etc.

– Strong attention to detail when it comes to creating clear, stand-out packaging across a range of formats & working with printers to get the highest quality results.

– Overseeing all of TRIP’s creative assets and ensuring the guidelines are consistently updated to support other team members.

– Elevating TRIP’s brand by keeping us close to the cultural pulse and adapting when needed.

– Developing channel expertise in the team to reflect the changing nature of the business goals, such as ensuring we know what best-in-class packaging and POS looks like, as well as Meta assets.

Creative Leadership

– Manage a team of freelancers & the creative project management workflow.

– Building out the budget and resource needs for the creative team at TRIP.

– Proactively presenting ideas for efficiencies or in-housing roles and additional support when needed.

– Educating the wider business on the TRIP brand and creative assets.

– Developing channel expertise in the team, e.g., growth assets, web, email, Amazon, Meta, Shopper, Packaging, Brand Campaigns & Activations.

Exceptional Execution

– Consistently challenging TRIP’s brand & design team to raise the bar via weekly review sessions.

– Ensuring assets are correctly filed and easily accessible to prevent misprints (Creative drive optimization).

– The go-to person for all print & packaging, knowledgeable on the ways of working partners, printing techniques, and industry best practices.

– Evolving the TRIP creative playbook, so that there is one source of truth for the team to brief from.

– Leading on art direction, photography, and videography production.
