Job Description
We are seeking MEP Project Managers to join our award-winning, real estate team. You will work on sector leading, flagship projects across various real estate sectors, including commercial, office, mixed use, residential, industrial, and retail construction, development and fit out. You will have the opportunity to progress within a rewarding business with excellent scope for career development and promotion. You will also have the opportunity to support internal business initiatives and development, to offer our people an all-round exposure to the business. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate consultancy experience.
Role within the project
To lead project management commissions from a MEP perspective, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery. To ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
- Ensure that quality, safety, health and environment issues are identified and addressed.
- Establish effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project.
- Advise upon the procurement of resources and manage the change control process.
- Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team and coordinate with the client and other consultants.
- Monitor and advise upon project finances and manage the flow of project information.
- Take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
- Manage and coordinate the MEP design, installation and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and regulations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
Qualifications
- Post Graduate Qualification in relevant field would be an added advantage.
- Relevant experience of working for a construction consultancy desirable.
- 7 – 15 years of post-qualification experience in similar role.
- MEP engineering qualification and/or background.
- Experience of working on various real estate projects.
- Knowledge of BIM, LEED and other sustainability standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
